Abstract
Arterial blood flow in dogs, distal to the site of gunshot injury and repair, was below normal for at least three hours after repair. Concommitant sympathectomy provides a 50% increase in flow across the repair within 40 minutes and a doubling of flow 80 minutes following reconstruction.
