Abstract
In each of two cases of gastrointestinal bleeding, a single ulcerated hemangioma of the small intestine was found. One patient presented with a massive, life-threatening hemorrhage, while the other patient had chronic protracted gastrointestinal bleeding of several years' duration. Both patients were treated successfully by surgical resection of the segment of intestine containing the hemangioma.
