Surgical Treatment of Staphylococcus aureus EndarteritisIn a Hemodialysis Arteriovenous Fistula

Abstract
A patient developed Staphylococcus aureus endarteritis complicating a hemodialysis arteriovenous fistula. The principle of quadripolar ligation and excision was successfully applied. Early recognition and surgical treatment of this complication can prevent the development of bacterial endocarditis.
