Abstract

• Multiple staphylococcal liver abscesses in a patientwith chronic granulomatous disease failed to resolve with antibiotictreatment and surgical drainage. The infection was finally controlledby addition of granulocyte transfusion therapy totaling 24 transfusionsand a total of 14.5 x 10¹⁰ granulocytes.
