In a right hepatic lobectomy, zones V, VI, VII, and VIII are removed; in a left hepatic lobectomy, zones II, III, and IV; in a right trisegmentectomy, segments, I, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII; and in a left lateral segmentectomy, zones II and III.¹
