Although not a surgical text in the traditional sense, this practical reference will serve many readers' needs. This work has recently been published in a much improved and updated fourth edition and represents a commendable effort on the part of Sarmad Aji, MD.
This reference is designed to review the commonly asked questions on the American Board of Surgery Certifying Examination. The author states that he interviewed countless numbers of examinees and board examiners and gathered together their experiences with questions commonly asked on the examination. Dr Aji has sought to present these topics in a logical, consistent, and thoughtful style that he hopes will allow the reader to answer the rare question not covered in the chapters. This edition, in contrast to previous versions, is improved by its complete table of contents and its correct use of English.
