Evidence-Based Surgery addresses a new approach to surgery in the 21st century. Dedicated to the legendary William S. Halsted, Gordon and Cameron have coordinated the writings of 62 superb active surgeons, administrators, legal gurus, medical record authorities, economists, and statisticians in this 700-page document. This book deservedly has a Johns Hopkins flavor.
Evidence-Based Surgery is divided into 2 major sections. (1) The Principles of Evidence-Based Surgery consist of 19 chapters. Chapters 3 through 7 are basic reading for surgeons who are interested in becoming conversant with the terminology in this modern approach to surgical diseases.
