Image of the Year for 2008

Arch Surg. 2008;143(12):1148.

Congratulations to Bang-Bin Chen, MD, Yu-Wen Tien, MD, PhD, Jaw-Town Lin, MD, PhD, and Kao-Lang Liu, MD, of National Taiwan University Hospital and National Taiwan University College of Medicine, Taipei; they coauthored the winning Image of the Year for 2008. Their Image of the Month article on ectopic spleen in the pancreatic tail appeared in the February 2008 issue (Arch Surg. 2008;143[2]:205-206). The correlation of the pathologic finding of ectopic spleen with the sophisticated application of magnetic resonance imaging is useful and nicely demonstrated. The quality of the images is superb. Please revisit our February 2008 issue to "Make the Diagnosis."
