The first annual meeting of the Surgical Infection Society will be held at the Hyatt Hotel in Chicago on April 25, 1981. The meeting will be devoted to presentation of papers relevant to surgical infections and a panel discussion. Submitted papers should have a member as an author or coauthor or be sponsored by a member. Please contact COL Pruitt if an important paper is in need of a sponsor. It is planned that all meritorious papers will be published, and final manuscripts must be submitted at the time of presentation.

Twelve copies of abstracts of papers to be considered for presentation should be sent to the chairman of the program committee, COL Basil A.
