The first edition of this book has been the classic reference for vascular surgeons involved with peripheral vascular laboratories. This new second edition repeats the standard articles on the old favorites, oculoplethysmography, IPG, and CPA, etc, but there is much new material and many excellent new authors.

In the second half of the book, practical application is strengthened broadly over the first edition.

The only weakness, other than repetition, is in coverage of duplex scanning in carotid disease. This was treated lightly in contrast to the importance assumed by duplex scanning in most peripheral vascular laboratories today.

In the second edition there is a great deal of excellent material and Bernstein's book remains a "must" in the library of any noninvasive-oriented vascular surgeon. . . . [Full Text PDF of this Article]
